Information About the Lynchburg Humane Society
Adoption Fee Change
Thank you for considering adopting a pet from the Lynchburg Humane Society. We normally have a good selection of dogs and cats who are already spayed and neutered. If you choose to adopt an animal that has not been fixed, it will have to be fixed prior to going home with you. We would be happy to deliver your new pet to the vet of your choice or to the South Central Spay/Neuter Clinic. The adoption fee on unfixed animals is $20, however you will be responsible for the fees at your vet office or the clinic.
Our adoption fees range from $20-$85, depending on if we have already paid for the pet to be sterilized. Please call us if you have any questions. We would be happy to explain this to you. 434-846-1438.
